About HPLF Reports

This page lists bug reports, complaints and feature requests for the HPLF H-Pi Lo-Fi microtonal softsynth. New entries go to the top of the list as they are received. Please make sure you are using the latest version of the software, and do a search on this page before submitting a bug report, complaint or feature request. The software has an automatic error catching and bug reporting feature which is the preferred method for submitting bug reports, although this will not work for freezes when you must force a quit.

It's crashing when I enter MIDI notes into Logic Pro 9

Two things to check: (1) if you are entering notes into Logic using a keyboard, make sure that in HPLF you have only the External App to HPLF selected in the MIDI routing window; check both the MIDI routing window and the Preferences window in HPLF. (2) if you are using the metronome in Logic, make sure it is not sending MIDI to HPLF; the metronome MIDI port should be turned off.
