In the Dynamic Xone Window, I would like it to automatically put pitches in order from low to high if
I happen to enter pitches out of order. |
OK, I'll add auto-sort to the dynamic window.

I set it to not show notes on the staff, but when it opens it shows the notes. The checkbox is unchecked, but
I have to manually check and uncheck the
checkbox to get it to hide them. |
Confirmed. It isn't reading the setting properly on boot.

I would like the Interval Practice option to allow playing single pitches instead of harmonic intervals. |
I'll have to think about this. It would then actually seem to be another form of Pitch practice.

When Xentone is open, I can't click on Spotlight search in the menubar upper right corner. |
Confirmed. Found and fixed for next release.

When I edit a scale and save it, it never appears in the list when I reboot, even if I press the
rescan button or choose the scan scales at startup option in Preferences. |
Confirmed. The scales are saved in the Scales folder as they should be, but there is a bug
with loading and rescanning the scales.

It always opens playing in the key of C, even if I set it to be in some other key. |
Confirmed. It reads the values but does not change the key until you open the key window.

In Interval Practive, I have Random Root selected, and the Descending Melodic option,
and sometimes Xentone wrongly plays octave shifted (compound) intervals. |
Confirmed. It sometimes wrongly shifts the second note up an octave.

Xentone plays back wrong pitches. I use a Mac and live in Italy. |
I can't confirm this as it has to do with Mac Language settings. I can send you
screenshots of the Language settings to fix the problem.

I would like to be able to cancel the Instant Replay.
When it has started, Xentone won't react to any mouse
clicks or key commands.
|
OK. For now you have to wait or force quit.

If the mirror design that shows inversional interval pairs stays
in the new dynamic window, could you make Xentone play back the
same pitch classes in each inversional pair? I mean, if
Xentone plays 4:5 as CE, I'd like to hear 5:8 as E:C, not C:Ab.
|
Possibly. I'll look into it.

It crashed when I clicked the + button under C4. |
Confirmed, only if you press + when *nothing* is checked
in the octave column. For now, just be sure something is checked before you press +.

I would like the xone array to be dynamic for pitches and intervals. |
There are many reasons I haven't done this, but I'll think more about it.

I made a chord file and put it in the User Chords folder, and it shows in
the popup list, but when I select it, it doesn't seem to load. |
Confirmed. It isn't seeing the User Chords folder correctly for loading.
For now, just put your files in the main Chords folder and it will load them.

| Bug | Jan.2010 | Mac |
When I click the Import button, I get a frozen window, with the open file
dialog behind it, and I have to force-quit. |
I can't reproduce this. For now, if this happens for you, instead of using the Import
button, just put the scale files you want to use in XENTONE Library > Scales and
click the Rescan button. You can also set your Prefs to scan the scales in that folder at startup.

In OSX 10.6 the program crashes at startup. |

| Bug | Sept.2009 | Mac |
On PPC, it crashed when I had the 'from scale' checkbox checked,
and I switched between Intervals and Pitches practice. |
I Couldn't reproduce the crash, but there is definitely a bug with the
'from scale' checkbox when checked while the practice selected changes. |
